Watch list

The watch list is the set of systems you want to keep an eye on the route to. Add a system and the Navigation panel shows the route to it from wherever you're currently focused, recalculated live as the chain changes.

What the panel shows

For each system on the watch list:

  • the system (with its wormhole class or security)
  • its region
  • the number of jumps from your selected origin, colour-coded so distance reads at a glance — green for a short hop, amber for a medium trip, red for a long one

Hover a row to see the full jump-by-jump route.

Jump counts depend on your routing settings

The jump count is the length of the route the routing engine finds — and that's shaped by your own autopilot settings. Your route preference, wormhole filters, security penalty, and whether EVE Scout is enabled all change which connections are usable and how the path is chosen.

So keep in mind:

  • The same system can show a different number of jumps for two people looking at the same map, because they have different settings.
  • If a count looks too high — or a route avoids a hole you'd happily take — edit your routing settings and the watch list updates immediately. See Autopilot & routing for what each setting does.

Pinning

Pin the systems you care about most to keep them at the top of the list; your top pinned systems also appear as one-click quick-pick buttons for fast routing.

Because routes update live, the watch list tells you not just where something is but how to get there right now — and warns you the moment a collapsing hole lengthens the trip. It uses the same engine as autopilot, so you can jump straight from watching a route to setting it in-game.
