Overview
A map is a shared, real-time picture of a wormhole chain. Systems appear as nodes, and the wormholes between them appear as connections. Everyone with access to the map sees the same picture, updating live as the chain is scanned.
Maps are collaborative. When a corpmate scans a new signature, resolves a wormhole, or marks a connection as end-of-life, the change appears on your screen immediately — no refresh needed.
What you can do on a map
- Map the chain — add systems and the connections between them by hand, or let live tracking help you log each jump as you fly.
- Track signatures — record the cosmic signatures in each system and link wormholes to their connections.
- Plan routes — let autopilot find the safest or shortest path through the chain and set in-game waypoints for you.
- See your group — watch where tracked characters are in real time.
- Control access — decide exactly who can view and who can edit, down to the character, corporation, or alliance.
Where to go next
If this is your first time, start with Connecting your character so the app can track your location and set waypoints, then read Mapping as you fly to log the chain with almost no effort.
