Mass
A wormhole's mass is how much total ship mass it can still pass before it collapses. Every ship that jumps through reduces it. You set the status as heavy ships cross — the app doesn't measure mass for you.
| Status | Mass remaining |
|---|---|
| Fresh | Over ~50% remaining. Plenty of room. |
| Reduced | Under ~50% remaining. Be deliberate about what you send through. |
| Critical | Under ~10% remaining. A single large ship may close it — and could strand whatever is on the far side. |
| Unknown | Not yet assessed. |
The percentages reflect EVE's wormhole mechanics and match the in-game shrink stages ("has had its stability reduced", "is reaching the end of its natural lifetime"). When you see a hole shrink in-game, drop its status down a level here.
Mass is independent of lifetime. Watch both before committing a fleet.
Autopilot can avoid reduced or critical holes — see Wormhole filters.
